Vibration isolation for machines

Why vibration isolation is crucial when installing machines

Vibration insulation (or vibration isolation) prevents the transmission of unwanted vibrations between the machine foundation, machine and environment. Targeted decoupling of structure-borne noise and resilient support, ~ mounting of machines minimises damage, noise and loss of precision.

Advantages of isoloc vibration isolation

  • Effective reduction of unwanted oscillations - for higher precision and process reliability
  • Increased machine performance - productivity increases of up to 30 % possible
  • Protection of machine, foundation and building - longer service life and lower maintenance costs
  • Optimised machine installation - resilient support, ~ mounting without complex foundation work
  • Flexibility thanks to modular systems - from mats to UMS bearings to vibrating foundations
  • Active and passive solutions - depending on requirements in mechanical engineering, production and precision manufacturing
  • Long-term cost-effectiveness - maintenance-free systems, durable high-performance elastomers
  • Many years of experience - our specialists will guide you through the entire process of vibration-isolated machine installation.

Our components for vibration control technology

isoloc offers a wide spectrum of solutions for the vibration isolation of machines.

The isoloc UMS (universal precision machine shoes) are a particularly flexible solution. They combine elastic mounting with high load-bearing capacity and enable machines to be set up quickly and precisely - without the need for time-consuming foundation work. The UMS are used in numerous areas of application such as machine tools, test benches, presses or production plants. Their function is to effectively absorb oscillations and at the same time ensure precise installation.

One quantity advantage is the uncomplicated installation without foundation anchoring. In addition, the UMS are maintenance-free and particularly durable. Compared to conventional vibration isolation mats, they offer significantly higher precision and are therefore the optimal solution for resilient Support, ~ mounting of machines.

Other vibration isolation products include our isoloc levelling elements, MULTIDAM angular contact bearings and vibration isolation packages.
