§ 3 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

(1) Use of server log files

Each time the website is accessed by a data subject or an automated system, a range of general data and information is recorded in log files. This includes an Internet Protocol address (IP address), the browser types and versions used, the website from which an accessing system accesses our website (so-called referrer), the sub-websites that are accessed via an accessing system on our website, the date and time of access to the website and other similar data and information that serve to avert danger in the event of attacks on our information technology systems.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR with the above-mentioned legitimate interests.

Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to ensure delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. This is also based on our legitimate interest in data processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is necessary for the operation of the website. It is also possible to check the log files if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use or a specific attack on our website based on concrete evidence. Our legitimate interest in processing lies in the purpose of investigating and prosecuting such attacks and unlawful use.

(2) Use of cookies

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the body that sets the cookie (in this case us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are used to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.

This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below:

Transient cookies: These are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Persistent cookies: These are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

When you visit our website, you will be informed about the use of cookies and your consent to the processing of the personal data used in this context will be obtained. In this context, reference is also made to this privacy policy. You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. This also gives you as the user full control over the use of cookies. The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.

(3) Web fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by various providers, for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the provider's servers. This gives the provider knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of web fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Further information about Font Awesome can be found at fontawesome.com/licenseandfontawesome.com/privacy.

§ 4 Other functions and offers on our website

In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. To do so, you must generally provide additional personal data that we use to provide the respective service and for which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.

(1) Use of the contact options

A contact form is available on our website, which can be used to contact us electronically. The data entered by the user is transmitted to us and stored. This includes e-mail address and your message as mandatory fields, all other information is voluntary and goes beyond what is necessary. Your consent to the processing of your data is obtained during the sending process and reference is made to this privacy policy. The legal basis for the processing of data when using the contact form is therefore Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

There is another contact form available for electronic contact that can be used for questions relating to the installation of one or more of the enquirer's machines. The data entered by the user is transmitted to us and stored. This includes company name, name, street, zip code & town, telephone number and your e-mail address as mandatory fields; all other information is voluntary and is used by us to answer your query in the best possible way. Your consent is obtained for the processing of your data as part of the sending process and reference is made to this privacy policy. The legal basis for the processing of data when using the additional contact form is therefore Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided, in which case the user's personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. The data is used exclusively for further conversation with you and will not be passed on to third parties. For the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail, there is a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

If the contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, the legal basis for the processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR must also be included with the implementation of pre-contractual measures and any subsequent processing for the fulfillment of a contract.

We only store personal data that we process as part of a general contact request via the contact form or by email until the respective correspondence has ended. The conversation is deemed to have ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

Consent to the processing of your personal data can be revoked at any time. If you contact us by e-mail, you can of course also object to the storage of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

(2) Collection and use of personal data in the application process

As part of the application process, it is important to us to ensure the highest possible level of protection for your personal data. For this reason, all personal data that is collected and processed by us as part of an application is protected against unauthorized access and manipulation by technical and organizational measures.

We process personal applicant data such as name, contact details, CV, nationality, work permit, etc. for the selection or recruitment process in the interested party process with the aim of filling positions in the company.

The legal basis for processing your personal data is the establishment, performance and termination of a contractual relationship pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, the fulfillment of a legal obligation pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, as well as on the basis of your consent by voluntarily providing data that is not absolutely necessary for the purpose (e.g. hobbies in the CV).

In addition, processing is based on legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR:

  • to optimize our application processes,
  • to ensure compliance with compliance regulations, industry standards and contractual obligations
  • for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims,
  • and to avoid damage and/or liability of our company by taking appropriate measures.

After the respective purpose has been achieved, your data will be deleted, but will be kept for as long as necessary for the defense of legal claims or against any AGG allegations in accordance with § 15 AGG compensation and damages in the event of a violation of the prohibition of discrimination. As a rule, this is 6 months. For particularly interesting applicants who cannot currently be considered, we ask for consent to longer-term storage (usually one year); the legal basis here is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If processing relevant to accounting has been carried out, such as the reimbursement of travel expenses, the data required for this will be deleted in compliance with the statutory retention periods, which are usually 6 or 10 years.

If the application was successful and we are able to welcome you to our company on the basis of a contractual agreement, we will transfer the data collected during the application process to our personnel file.

This ensures that you are actually the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to the creation of the customer account. § 6 Use of social media

We currently use the following social media plug-ins: YouTube. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We give you the option of communicating directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration will be transmitted. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is therefore transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the USA in the case of US providers). We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

If you click the activated button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. § 7 Public Relations

(1) DoubleClick by Google

This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to display ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out your IP address and store it.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular by suppressing third-party cookies so that you do not receive any ads from third-party providers; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", https://www.google.de/settings/ads. whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

(4) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
