The Gildemeister lathe was set up in a new production facility on a ceiling with a very fine vibration-sensitive manufacturing (gears for clocks, etc.). The supporting ceiling structure consists of steel beams, on which a relatively thin concrete floor is applied. By operating the Gildemeister lathe, impulsive excitations arise, which would have transferred across the floor to fine production and which would have been disturbing.

Based on the results of a vibration measurement by ISOLOC technicians on site, the lathe machine was successfully placed on the floor with the ISOLOC machine mounting systems. The elastic storage led to very good vibration insulation, whereby disturbing vibrations have been reduced significantly. The production is not disrupted by the operation of the Gildemeister machine.

MULTIDAM (pat.) - spatial effective machine mounting system / 26.09.2005
The new, patented ISOLOC MULTIDAM machine mounting system for especially demanding requirements in vibration insulation and vibration damping as well as good machine stability in vertical and horizontal direction.
The new machine shoe UMS45 in patented construction is suitable for loads up to 600 000 N (approx. 60 t), with vibration insulation up to 450 000 N. And this with an extremely compact construction. Level easy and precise, as usual. You can find more information at "products/machine shoes".

ISOLOC press bearing systems for chipless cutting machines of all kind
For the vibration insulated installation of heavy presses. With these system solutions it is possible to install presses e. g. from SMS Eumuco, Müller-Weingarten, Schuler etc. with a weight over 3 500 kN insulated and damped from vibrations - with small downward deflection and headroom. Thus, presses can be refitted with a vibration insulation without the high costs of base enlargements of the foundation that have been necessary so far.
ISOLOC measuring and analyzing technology is extended by the modal analysis
Because of permanently changing requirements to constructions and the increasing influence of lightweight constructions, especially in the machine-tool construction, more and more exact models are necessary to describe mechanical systems. Vibratory mechanical systems are modelled by masses, rigidities and dampings. Due to the increasing significance of the estimation as precise as possible of the model parameters the computer aided measuring and analysis of dynamic component characteristics plays a more and more important role. Thus it is possible to define exactly the constructively weak points of a machine and to dimension an effective remedial measure. Highly sensitive X-ray electron microscopes were installed on 4-axis MULTIDAM elements. So far expensive air spring elements had been used for these microscopes. Thanks to the use of the ISOLOC MULTIDAM elements, the required limit values for vibrations could be met - and that with notably lower costs!
WFL Millturn Machines M40 and M65 installed on ISOLOC machine bearing systems on upper floors
For the first time, WFL Millturn machines were installed on upper floors on ISOLOC machine bearing sytems. Enormous costs of the installation and foundation (no support of the ceiling necessary) could be saved.
16 machining centres installed free for the first time at VW in Kassel
At Volkswagen, works Kassel, 16 machining centres (m = approx. 30 t) were placed elastically and damping, for the first time without fixation, on ISOLOC UMS machine shoes (pat.) on a ceiling in October 2002. In spite of the elastic characteristics of the ceiling these machining centres work with the required precision and productivity.
Mounting of Edel portal milling machines, type Koordinatic, weight approx. 300 kN incl. mobile portal with 90 kN, on ISOLOC UMS machine shoes (pat.). Measurings have shown that the KV-factor had been raised 3 times and the productivity as well as the precision had been increased significantly.
Truning and milling centre type C42 is installed free-standing on ISOLOC machine shoes UMS8. Along with the vibration insulation, the surface of the workpieces and the dynamic behaviour of the machine have demonstrably been improved.
